5 out of 5 stars Better than I expected   November 21, 2007

This wire-free USB unit is portable, smart looking, and very effective. Being wire-free in some set ups and offices is very valuable.
There aren't any other units nearby, so I can't be certain that if there is more than one, there won't be "cross-talk." I would find it surprising if this was a problem.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Mouse, works well..   July 13, 2008

I am very pleased with my purchase.
Pros:
=====
--Portable: slim and small size - my kids also love it as it's a good fit on their smaller size hands.
--Reasonable Price (I bought it on a Gold Box Deal)
--Presenter Mode functionality (can only move forward and back through the slide show - this is not a Gyro mouse).
Cons:
=====
--As pointed out by other reviewers, the scroll wheel s a bit stuff.

FYI the presenter mode operation is not clearly listed anywhere - it took a few minutes to figure it out as you have to start the slide show and make sure the mouse lights have finished blinking.

5 out of 5 stars 6 x 2 x 8 inches?   May 25, 2008

I haven't purchased this mouse yet, but I will It is just what I want, both a mouse and a presenter and Kensington is a good name.

But you have it described as 6x2x8 inches and weighing 3 pounds!!!

How about 6x2x8 centimeters and 3 ounces?

4 out of 5 stars Good for what I need.   February 6, 2009

I wanted a thin mouse to pack with my dell mini 9 in it's thin sleeve. Everything on the mouse works fine. Wish there were more buttons and the shape isn't the greatest for long time use (flat instead of rounded) but it's a lot better than trying to use the mini touchpads on laptops. Got it for 25 at cc and that was a low enough price for me to bite.

4 out of 5 stars This presenter mouse is almost perfect for the classroom   August 18, 2010
John Avery (Tacoma, WA)
I'm a college teacher who bought this device to use in the classroom. I agree with many of the previous reviewers who noted the positive points about it: design, functionality, compactness, and ease of use. I also agree that it isn't as easy to hold as a full-size mouse that is contoured to one's hand, but that's not why I bought it. It is perfect for use in the classroom with PowerPoint as it undocks me from the front of the room so I can move in the classroom and see what the students see. The one missing functionality, which I wish I had thought of before buying it, is that it doesn't have a laser pointer, which I would have appreciated.
